              HGTC Hosts College Application Nights to Help Future Students for the Next Step
               
              CONWAY, S.C. (Oct. 31, 2025) – Horry-Georgetown Technical College (HGTC) invites prospective students to attend its upcoming College Application Nights, a special opportunity to receive personalized assistance with the college application process and get all their questions answered about attending HGTC.
               
              The events will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the following campus locations:

              • Wednesday, November 5, 2025 - Conway Campus
                Building 1100, TECH Central
              • Thursday, November 6, 2025 - Georgetown Campus
                Building 100, TECH Central
               
              Future students can receive one-on-one support completing the HGTC application, guidance with required forms, and answers to questions about programs, financial aid, and enrollment. Admissions staff will be available to assist attendees throughout the process.
               
              “These events are a wonderful way for future students to get started on their college journey with confidence,” said Dr. Marilyn “Murph” Fore, HGTC president. “Our team is here to help every step of the way from the moment someone applies to the day they walk across the graduation stage.”
               
              HGTC offers more than 80-degree, diploma, and certificate programs across three campuses in Conway, Georgetown, and Myrtle Beach. Whether students are planning to start a new career, transfer to a four-year university, or enhance their professional skills, HGTC provides affordable, high-quality education close to home and online.
