Honor a loved one this holiday season through Lights of Love

Looking for a way to honor a special person this holiday season? Consider a donation to Lights of Love.

The annual Tidelands Health Lights of Love initiative offers a unique opportunity to honor a loved one’s legacy or celebrate an individual for the light he or she brings to your life. Recognize a relative, teacher, caregiver, friend, neighbor, coworker or other special person.

For a minimum $25 donation, you can recognize your loved one with a heartfelt message and holiday light that will be displayed in a special section on tidelandshealth.org.

In addition to honoring your loved one, donations to Lights of Love help fund scholarships awarded to current and future health care professionals through the McRoy and Jo Skipper Initiative for Learning and Teaching. Every spring, the initiative awards scholarships to graduating high school seniors pursuing health care careers and dedicated Tidelands Health team members furthering their education.

“Lights of Love is a beloved tradition embodying the spirit of the holiday season,” said Gayle Resetar, executive vice president and chief operating officer. “What better gift to show someone how much they mean to you while helping build a brighter future for health care professionals who serve our community.

“Together, we can make a difference in the lives of so many through gratitude and giving shown through Lights of Love.”
