Description
Hopsewee Plantation is usually closed on Mondays but in June, we are participating in the Georgetown 250 Celebrations and, because we will be closed on Saturday, July 4, we will instead be open on Monday, June 29.
We are delighted to be hosting our favorite Revolutionary War Reenactors, The Hugh Giles, Britton's Neck Regiment of Militia on that Monday and we hope you find time to come out to Hopsewee to see us!
The Reenactors will have their cabin open and in operation, all kitted out with rope beds and lanterns, cook pots, and other necessities of colonial life. Don't miss the fun and educational opportunity to learn more about our Revolutionary War heroes and witness colonial life up close and personal.Images
