Have You ever wondered where labyrinths originated, or how they were used? What defines a labyrinth, and why would we want to include one as part of Brookgreen Gardens?
Join us for an overview of the labyrinth, which will include some of the history and evolution of these mystical paths, and the changing ways people use them in everyday life. A walk to and on the labyrinth will follow as an option for participants.
Laura Young has been certified as a labyrinth facilitator by Veriditas in 2010 and has been doing instruction and walk facilitation for nine years. She is a member of the Labyrinth society and the Labyrinth keepers (an ecumenical group operating out of Greensboro, NC). She has been a Brookgreen volunteer since 2017.
