Short Distance (5 & 10 Mile)

All Paddle Crafts Welcome! If you can paddle it, you can race it! We invite a wide variety of vessels to join the lineup.
There are some sea kayaks, a Prospector canoe, a Wenonah Sundowner canoe, a Clipper Langley, a Nelo OC1, a Gemini OC2, a Tempest OC2, and a Force 5 OC6 spec. available for rent from the venue.

Kayak rentals for the 5-mile race are also available through Georgetown Kayak Rentals at (843) 344-9986.
*Race divisions will be selected closer to race day based on craft. Gender and age divisions will be sorted prior to race day, based on the number of entrants for each craft type.
A light fundraising lunch provided by Boy Scout Troop 300 of Georgetown, entry, and a commemorative t-shirt are included in the registration fee. An open gear swap-and-sell to follow.
