DESCRIPTION:The best college anglers in the country will be in Georgetown to celebrate Labor Day weekend by competing in the Strike King Bassmaster College Series National Championship at Winyah Bay presented by Bass Pro Shops Sept. 2-4 in Georgetown\, S.C.\n\n\n\nTeams will launch from Carroll Ashmore Campbell Marine Complex in Georgetown starting at 6:30 a.m. ET. Weigh-ins will start at 2:30 p.m. and will take place on Front Street in downtown Georgetown.  The national champion team will be crowned during the weigh-in on Front St. on Sunday\, Sept. 4.\n\n\n\nA range of activities are planned each day on Front St. including live music and a beer garden.\n\n\n\nConcerts will take place Friday\, Sept. 2 featuring Too Much Sylvia sponsored by the GBA and on Saturday\, Sept. 3 with the Blue Dogs sponsored by Georgetown County Chamber of Commerce and SC's Hammock Coast. Both concerts will begin at 8 pm at the corner of Broad and Front Streets in Georgetown and are free and open to the public.
