News for Immediate Release: Tidelands Health opens new family medicine location in Murrells Inlet
Community members looking for a family medicine provider have new options in the Murrells Inlet area.
Tidelands Health has expanded its network of family medicine locations with the addition of Tidelands Health Family Medicine at Murrells Inlet inside Waccamaw Medical Park South, 4367 Riverwood Drive. The practice opened Monday. All providers at the new location are accepting new patients, and appointments can be scheduled by calling 1-866-TIDELANDS.
The skilled providers at the practice can see patients for a variety of reasons, from conducting an annual wellness check to monitoring chronic conditions such as diabetes and high blood pressure to diagnosing and treating illnesses such as cold and flu.
“A primary care provider is an integral part of an individual’s health care team. The provider is a trusted partner for our patients offering preventive services and treatments to help patients stay healthy and live better lives through better health,” said Brooke Howard, vice president of operations at Tidelands Health. “As our region’s largest health care provider, Tidelands Health continues to recruit additional skilled physicians and providers, expand much-needed services and add locations so needed health care can be accessed conveniently close to home.”
Dr. Roxanne Latimer, Dr. Elizabeth Dixon, certified family nurse practitioner Crystal Connors and physician assistant Paige Weaver are seeing patients at the new Murrells Inlet location.
In addition to the opening of Tidelands Health Family Medicine at Murrells Inlet, physicians will be joining existing Tidelands Health Family Medicine locations in Myrtle Beach at The Market Common, on Holmestown Road in the Myrtle Beach area, in Georgetown, in Garden City and in Pawleys Island.
