Stained Glass Classes in Pawleys Island CLASS offers four 6-week courses for beginners and seasoned artists using the copper foil and solder method of stained glass art. You will choose appropriate level projects to work on. Basic tools are provided (glass cutters, grinders, and soldering irons) along with scraps of glass for use in your projects. Beginner kits containing solder, copper foil and flux are available for purchase from the instructor. There is also a limited supply of stained glass that can be purchased. The classes are structured in a relaxed atmosphere working at your own pace. Individual attention and instruction is provided. Students will be working with soldering irons, grinders, and sharp edged glass, requiring dexterity, steadiness, and the ability to stand for long periods of time.

Public workshop focused on shaping Georgetown County’s first Unified Development Ordinance
Georgetown County invites residents, business owners and other interested parties to participate in a public workshop focused on shaping the County?s first Unified Development Ordinance (UDO). The interactive workshop will feature small-group discussions designed to gather community feedback on land uses, pedestrian opportunities, transportation, and other key planning topics. Input collected during the workshop will help guide the drafting of the County?s Unified Development Ordinance, which will establish a unified framework for future growth and development. All interested members of the public are encouraged to attend and share their perspectives.
