Go back in time and experience Haunted Tales at Hopsewee Plantation in Georgetown, presenting stories of Author and storyteller Elizabeth Robertson Huntsinger. She?s given hundreds of programs on the history and ghostly legends of Georgetown County, as a Historical Interpreter for over 25 years. She has three books to date as the author of Ghosts of Georgetown, More Ghosts of Georgetown, and Georgetown Mysteries and Legends. Arrive early for Hopsewee Wine by the River and enjoy drinks and hors d?oeuvres by the river beginning at 4:00p. Feel free to browse the gift shop and get your book purchases signed by the author.

Murder Mystery Cruise
Join us aboard the Crazy Sister for an evening filled with laughter, mystery and murder! Put your mystery solving skills to the test as you are plunged into a live-action murder mystery where actors play out a dramatic whodunit. You?ll mingle with suspects, gather clues, and try to crack the case before we return to dock and the murderer is revealed. This will be a night of interactive fun! You?re not just watching?you?re investigating. Guests receive clue packets, interrogate characters, and even visit mock crime scenes aboard the ship. Work together or work alone- the choice is up to you. Costumes are encouraged, adding flair and immersion to the experience. At the end, guests submit their guesses and the killer is unmasked! Let the bragging rights begin and don?t miss a great photo op before you leave.
Murrells Inlet Ghost Cruise
Join Visit Murrells Inlet and Crazy Sister Marina for our Murrells Inlet Ghost Cruise! As dusk settles upon the inlet, embark on a 1-hour cruise through the dark waters of the marsh. This family-friendly tour is open to all ages, promising both thrills and chills as we recount ghost stories, legends and lores of Murrells Inlet that have been passed down through generations. This tour is perfect for those who love history, ghost stories, and exploring the unknown. Whether you?re a local looking to learn more about the haunted past of Murrells Inlet or a visitor seeking a memorable experience, our Inlet Ghost Cruise offers an unforgettable evening on the water. The Explorer is a United States Coast Guard Certified and Inspected vessel that is 54' in length with a bathroom on board. There is also a cash canteen onboard with a limited selection of beer, wine and snacks for purchase. No outside food and beverages permitted. Please note, this trip may include music, loud pops and noises, lights and more to enhance the stories being shared.
