Christmas Oyster Roast at Bellefield Plantation, Hobcaw Barony

Come to Bellefield Plantation at Hobcaw Barony to celebrate the holidays the old-fashioned way with a lowcountry oyster roast and BBQ feast completed by chicken bog, side dishes, dessert, wine, and beer. Tales of the Baruchs and their Christmas traditions will be told, and participants will enjoy relaxing and walking the grounds. Staff and volunteers will be available to answer questions of interest.

Participants’ cars will need to navigate rustic roads comprised of sand and dirt. Check-in is at the gate; follow the signs approximately 1 mile to Bellefield. Please BYOC (bring your own chair). This is a rain or shine event. Participants will want to dress for the weather including the possibility of biting insects. Due to catering requirements, a minimum number of participants must be registered by December 1st. (Exertion level: Moderate impact – some walking, standing for short periods)
