A fox hunt is coming to the city of Georgetown on Tuesday, June 30, on the lawn of the Kaminski House Museum as part of the Carolina Kids Day event. To commemorate the anniversary of the American Revolution, the Daughters of the American Revolution, Colonial Dames, and Georgetown 250 organizations will unveil a permanent Foxes on Front Scavenger Hunt, named after General Francis Marion, who was known as the Swamp Fox. The Carolina Kids Day starts at 10:00 a.m. and ends at Noon. Activities for children of all ages will include the unveiling of Foxes on Front scavenger hunt, historical tours, learning to write with quill pens, indigo blue painting, detective games, book signing, and much more. The Foxes on Front Scavenger Hunt ribbon cutting will take place at 10:30 a.m. on the lawn of the Kaminski House.
This event is open to the public and free.
