IT'S TIME TO GET YOUR FLU SHOT! As part of their commitment to health and wellness, Care Pharmacy is offering an on-site Flu Vaccination Clinic at the Georgetown County Chamber of Commerce office in Pawleys Island. This clinic is open to the community. Getting your annual flu shot is the most effective way to protect yourself and the people around you from serious illness. Please remember to bring your insurance card.
The CDC recommends that everyone 6 months and older get a flu shot each year. Getting vaccinated doesn’t just protect you — it helps protect your family, friends, and community too.
Here’s who especially needs it:
Children 6 months and older — young immune systems need extra protection.
Pregnant women — helps protect both mom and baby.
Adults 65+ — higher risk of serious flu complications.
People with chronic health conditions like asthma, diabetes, or heart disease.
