DESCRIPTION:8/31/21 EVENT UPDATE:\n\nAfter careful monitoring of the recent developments of COVID-19\, Freedom Readers has made the decision to pivot to an online silent auction to be held September 13 - September 19.  The silent auction link will go live on September 13. Be sure to join us and check out the amazing local businesses and community packages you can win!  Come place your bids with Freedom Readers!  Together we can ignite a love of reading!     \n\n\n\n----------------------------------------------------\n\n\n\nSupport one-on-one tutoring and a love of reading for area students! Igniting a Love of Reading returns this year to Bonfire- a Smokin' Taqueria\, on the banks of the Waccamaw River in Conway. Your ticket provides a young student in this area literacy tutoring and FREE books to read at home. For your donation\, the ticket will get you 2 drinks and a delicious BBQ spread from award-winning Chef Darren Smith. We will also host a silent auction and 50/50 raffle!\n\n\n\n**Freedom Readers is monitoring Covid-19 and will follow all requirements for in-person events. Igniting a Love of Reading will not be canceled but plans are being made for a completely virtual event\, if necessary.
