Recipient of the 2020 SC Governor's Award for the Arts and 2022 inductee into the SC Academy of Authors\, Glenis Redmond is a nationally renowned writer and teaching artist whose work has been showcased on NPR and PBS.  Her presentation is based on her award-winning book\, The Three Harriets and Others (2021)\, which celebrates courageous acts of Harriet Tubman\, famed conductor of the Underground Railroad.  \n\n\n\nIn partnership with "Bring Harriet Home: Journey to Freedom" sculpture exhibit on display in Georgetown.
