DESCRIPTION:Participants will spend the morning walking through the long leaf pine savanna and along the hardwood swamps that make up more than half of the Black River Cypress Preserve in Andrews\, SC - looking at birds\, butterflies\, and anything else that we can find. Be prepared to walk about 3 miles.\n\n \n\nParticipants should bring binoculars\, a refillable water bottle\, snacks\, and a camera if desired. Wear good\, sturdy\, closed-toe shoes for walking because miles will be covered.
