DESCRIPTION:BE A HOMEOWNER!\n\nHabitat for Humanity is currently accepting applications for our Cottage Program.  We will reopen the application process for our Traditional home in January 2023.  \n\n\n\nHabitat uses 3 main criteria in selecting families to partner with:\n\n-the need for simple\, decent and affordable housing\n\n-the ability to pay a 30 year\, interest free mortgage\n\n-the willingness to partner with our ministry in the building of the home and the homes of others\n\n\n\nIn order to qualify the applicant must:\n\n-have lived in Georgetown County for the last 12 months\n\n-be an American citizen\, legal resident\, or have the right to work in the US\n\n-have an income that falls between 35% and 80% of the area median income for Georgetown County
