DESCRIPTION:This event is guided by local botanist Maureen Mulligan and local naturalists Wendy and Dennis Allen. Join them for a fall hike\, at our Swampside Tract\, focusing on wildflowers and butterflies.   Participants will hike a portion of the Preserve and visit some of the diverse ecosystems it has to offer\, examining the natural world found along the way.  Fresh water swamps and upland forests await those who want to explore by foot.  This 2.5 hour event will cover about 3 miles of either crushed granite or grassy trails.  Bring your own water\, wear sturdy shoes\, and dress for the weather in comfortable layers.
