DESCRIPTION:Join fellow Chamber members for a relaxed evening of networking with food\, drinks\, and prize drawings. This month's Business After Hours will be hosted by Strovis. The Business After Hours will also double as a celebration of Strovis' 20th anniversary.\n\n\n\nThe company's corporate headquarters is still based in Georgetown at the Highmarket Business Center\, and those attending will be welcome to take tours of the offices while enjoying a delicious selection of catered foods underneath tents outside. Some special presentations will be made\, as well as drawings for prizes.\n\n\n\nThe company was established on April 13\, 1998\, as Unistaff Administration Inc. to provide payroll and human resource outsourcing services. The name was changed to Strovis   which stands for Strong Vision   in 2012.\n\n\n\nOver the years\, the company's business model has progressed and expanded. Today Strovis Holdings now represents three entities: Strovis Payroll & HR\, Strovis Insurance and Strovis Benefits. These three entities partner to provide a one-stop outsourcing shop for small business employers.\n\n\n\nIn addition to the Georgetown corporate office\, Strovis has offices in three other South Carolina locations: Murrells Inlet\, Mount Pleasant and Summerville. The company has served clients in 32 states.\n\n\n\nStrovis Payroll is an employee administration company and takes the services and expertise of a large corporate HR department and provides them to small- and medium-sized business entrepreneurs in customizable packages.\n\n\n\nStrovis Insurance is an independent\, multi-line insurance agency specializing in personal and commercial insurance. Strovis Insurance represents a wide array of carriers to meet the needs of our clients and partners with more than two dozen nationally known companies.\n\n\n\nStrovis Benefits is a full-service independent health and benefit advisory firm for small- to medium-sized businesses and their employees in the Carolinas. The division provides unbiased access to the most current and competitive health plans through the federal individual and SHOP marketplaces\, private carrier exchanges\, and Strovis' own direct individual marketplace\, Strovis Marketplace. Advisers have been providing health plan services to individuals and employers in the Carolinas since 2001.\n\n\n\nTony Jordan serves as chairman of the board of Strovis Holdings\, and his daughter\, Jenna Jordan\, is CEO. Tracy Mau\, who started as the company's only employee in 1998\, is now the chief operating officer.
