Without being able to truly "gather" together\, fundraising has been a special challenge for the Rotary Club of Georgetown\, but one thing we can still do is GOLF! Get outdoors to Wedgefield Country Club because registration is now open for our 1st Annual Georgetown Rotary Club Golf Tournament! The Rotary Club of Georgetown has supported a number of local and regional projects: The YMCA Splash Program\, offering free swim lessons to over 60 kids. Provided shoes\, socks and coats to needy children within our community through Happy Feet and Operation Warm. Provided dictionaries to elementary school kids. Helped provide hot meals and served at Friendship Place. Through Rotary Readers\, we have impacted the lives of numerous children and helped them learn to read. And\, we have also supported Alzheimer's research through CART every year. There are many other projects as well but you get the point. We are doing an awful lot of good and we need your help to continue doing that!
