    News for Immediate Release:

Walk With a Doc canceled as a precautionary measure
As part of proactive efforts underway at Tidelands Health to help prevent the spread of the COVID-19 coronavirus, the Walk With a Doc scheduled for Saturday, March, 14, in Myrtle Beach is canceled.
Walk With a Doc is a free community walking initiative hosted by Tidelands Health at Grand Park at The Market Common. The monthly program offers attendees the opportunity to benefit from an engaging informational presentation by a Tidelands Health medical professional followed by a walk around the lake at Grand Park.
Although there are no confirmed cases of coronavirus in Horry or Georgetown counties, this month’s Walk With a Doc has been canceled as a precaution to help prevent the potential spread of the illness.
Instead, the health system is encouraging would-be attendees to independently walk and post an image to social media with the hashtag #walkwithadoc and tag @tidelandshealth.
