What Needs To Change Today to Prepare for a Bright Tomorrow?
Name: What Needs To Change Today to Prepare for a Bright Tomorrow?Date: August 15, 2019Time: 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM EDTEvent Description:The Bunnelle Foundation's vision is of a diverse Georgetown County community with abundant opportunity for work, recreation and sustainable living. To realize this vision, we must identify the barriers preventing some of us from attaining the skills and education needed to support our families and communities. Some of those barriers include: predatory lending, lack of transportation and lack of affordable housing. We want to build a strong, inclusive economy that benefits all. Dr. Sherece West-Scantlebury, President of Winthrop Rockefeller Foundation of Arkansas, will help us focus on what needs to change today to prepare us for tomorrow.Location:Winyah Auditorium
