Need a loan for your small business or startup? When the bank says no, a microloan may be the answer for the funding you want.
What is a MicroLoan?
Microloans are small loans that are often used by businesses who can't get a traditional business loan from a bank. Economist Muhammad Yunus, who won the 2006 Nobel Peace Prize, is considered the first person to put microlending as we know it today into practice, lending money to women and men who couldn't get loans from banks.
Join the Chamber for a discussion on a topic that is important for you as you build and grow your business.
John Kenny from the Georgetown Innovation Center will present a one-hour seminar so that you can learn how to apply and qualify for a micro-loan. A light breakfast will be served.
